A Longing for Authentic Taste
Growing up in Vietnam, the Song Ngoc sisters shared an intense love for traditional cuisine. After settling in Toronto, we realized a gap: it was challenging to find traditional dishes prepared with the meticulous effort and unique, hard-to-source ingredients needed. This inspired us to build Am Thuc Viet—a place where meticulousness, family love, and national pride are fully expressed.

We use no flavour enhancers. Our secret is the broth, simmered for many hours using fresh pork bones and chicken, ensuring absolute clarity and natural sweetness for core dishes like Bún Riêu and Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang.
